As far as removing preinstalled apps, you have to be rooted to do so. You must be VERY careful doing so because your phone needs some of them to function correctly.

What's root, kinda of a tech idiot, my first time on this page. I did a reset because my phone was slow when it was restored, verz. backup and google didn't mesh right on my contacts, put wrong pictures and numbers on them.
