Depending on where you are in Arizona, you might be on an out of state tower. Or there's no exception for DST in either the phone or the tower software.

But AZ doesnt participate in DST changes, towers in AZ shouldnt change time at all, just time zone.

wasn't aware some places didn't adjust for dst.... i find that odd, but i learned something

Yeah arizona is one of the places you don't have to fool with adjusting your clock it stays the same.

Same for here in Hawaii, we have our own time zone -10. No DST changes.

Usually anywhere there is farming they adjust for dst .... arizona deffinatly isn't farmland and neither is hawaii.

Nothing to do with the battery, it has to do with your cellular provider. But changing the time your self is as simple as going to settings & changing it
