Can I just have a low power FM transmitter and visual voicemail??? How hard is that?
Be careful of what you ask for ...
Do not expect the model that is initially being sold for activation on T-Mobile to work on Verizon since that would be trying to get a GSM phone to work on a CDMA network. Unless it has one of those hybrid cellular radio chipsets that can be programmed for either type of network, it ain't gonna work.
^^ Device will be converted to CDMA in Spring for VZW
Youmail is an awesome FREE visual voicemail program i put a different greeting on for each of my contacts lol. check out www.youmail.com
Google Voice is the best!
I wonder if you get an auto-invite to Google Voice if you purchase a Nexus....seems like you should.
can you use youmail/googlevoice with a ported number?
How can you get swype? It's not in the market, am I doing something wrong? haha
^^ wrong thread, and it's not gonna be in the market... it's a leak/beta/whatever at this point...
word of advice, a quick search will usually find what you're looking for:
Droid Forum - Verizon Droid & the Motorola Droid Forum - Search Results
Did anyone catch this? I just found this link although it is from December 13th of last year.
Nexus One turned down by Verizon? Phone may be GSM only
Nexus One turned down by Verizon? | Electronista
with swype i actually went from liking th moto droid to loving it!!!! get it and you can email it as an attachment to your friends. it is simple to install and has worked awesome and gets better everyday i use it as it learns my words. the first phone to market swype as a new feature will gain a ton of sales. Who will it be???
Err... Samsung Omnia II ??
