We have some awesome phones to choose from here in 2014 and if you are like me and waited thinking the choice would be easier well the choice is actually harder. On the Android side we have Nexus 6, Droid Turbo, Moto X 2014, Note 4, One+, HTC M8, Galaxy S5, Galaxy Alpha (on select carriers) and on the Apple side the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus. With so many devices to choose from how do you choose the best device. Across the board the specs are pretty even though Apple dominates in the camera department followed by Samsung, unfortunately Motorola and Nexus devices are heading the bottom and the Moto Nexus is .....well let's say I am not expecting much out of the camera.
Such a tough choice this holiday season which phone will you be purchasing?

Turbo baby! Not too concerned regarding the camera and frankly I'm hopeful that with the 21MP sensor perhaps they're finally paying attention to that part of the device. IMHO the Turbo is a home run on all other fronts.

currently i'm leaning towards the Nexus 6, i'm kind of luck that my contract isn't up until dec 3rd (wasn't one of the lucky ones for verizon to wave the last few months of contract) but I hope by the 3rd I will have more data to go on with the nexus vs the note 4.

Leaning Turbo, but I'm waiting to see some reviews of the camera. Though I don't have complete confidence it will be a viable one, the fact that it's using such a good sensor at least gives me hope.

Size and battery life would be the only two things holding me back from the nexus 6.

I should say lack of knowing battery life or the fear of average life.

on the move..

As many of you might know I'm in desperate need of a phone as mine has stopped ringing and I can't seem to fix that. It is a Galaxy Nexus which I got the day Verizon FINALLY released it paying full to keep unlimited. It is a phone I love to hate as it has many limitations. I agree that I need to hold the choices as I'm concerned that something much bigger might not suit me well but my old eyes argue that fact. I'd like a microSD slot as I already bought a 64gb one in anticipation. My old original droid desk clock was a great phone so moto is a choice (no slot tho). Decisions decisions decisions...

I am leaning towards the Turbo over the Note 4. I don't care about the camera at all. I just want a smooth running phone that has a really great battery.
