Quad core support

I have and upgrade coming soon and I was wondering should I hold out for a quad core? I guess my really question is does ics support quad cores? If it doesn't I don't see the point in waiting for one.

Yes quad core will work with ics. The question is if apps can take advantage of quad cores.

ICS doesnt even fully support dual core. So quad core support is out of the question.

ICS will run on single core, dual core and quad core... just because it runs on the device doesnt mean your utilizing all cores.
