Nvidia has announced plans to have a quad core phone out by christmas. This should really hurt the sales of the dual core phones and especially phones like the Thunderbolt that are still 1ghz. At least the 1ghz phones have been on top for a year. The dual core has a few months.

Are you kidding me? quad core? Yeah, that would definantly hurt sales... I mean look at all these nice brand new shiny androids rolling in with dual core clue and most use the terra II chip.. it doesn't make sense why they're do that it'd be a terrible marketing fail on their part.

I added a link to the article and videos. It also shows a chart that the next 4 processors are already in the planning/development stages. One per year.

The dual cores are only rated at 1ghz as well...just more efficient. I don't see this hurting sales too much.
