So, once again my Swype ran out. I'm kind of dependent on it, and lost using the regular HTC keyboard.

I use SlideIT , actually prefer the alternate selection being more like htc.
The alternative selections are MUCH larger,a necessity outdoors
I use a lot of numbers and characters and have found SlideIT to be faster.
Swype is much faster for typing for me but SlideIT is faster than swype for me

I am Swype all the way, but I really should give SlideIT a try.

I used them both, often switching mid post or text. At first I thought swype was better but SlideIT is easier to add words, alternative words are much easier to see and use on my old eyes and I never acclimated to the way swype does numbers.
When I got my trial has expired this morning I just uninstalled swype.I had been using it less and less anyway because of the numbers symbols thing.
SlideIT has the ability to turn trace completely off making it much faster than swype on abc. Its not as much of a battery drain( never had it showed up in my top users whereas the swype was always there though at the bottom) no matter how you set the trace.
Some may hate SlideIT but I used it in my Omnia with little success but its flawless on my Inc vs swype freezing up every now and then, slowing way down especially on the internet
In not sure how the demo on android is because I bought it off the bat but the demo is nothing like the paid on windows mobile. On wm the demo blows chunks
