Phone just acking straight up screwy

First post and was wondering if I could get some guidance. Bought a HTC Incrediable about 3-4 weeks ago (first smart phone) and it has progressively gotten more and more buggy. If I try to go to the Android market it crashes. On app I liked was Shop Savvy, well it keeps crashing recently. Also about 70 percent of the time phone calls on it just sound like ... well you know what I'm getting at. Figured I'd try reloading it, but I've never done that. The Verizon or HTC stuff I've looked at weren't super helpful. Any suggestions.

It seems to me that android phones need to be rebooted every day or so. It seems to make my Droid 1 run better.

Is SD formatted FAT32? If so, is there ample room?
Is the device rooted, and if so, what ROM + kernel are you running?

Not rooted. Yep formatted FAT 32. I did a complete factory reset and that seemed to correct it's behavor, but what a pain.
