Need some bootstrap tips

For those I have bothered in the past with my bootstrap problems my most profuse apologies!!! Turns out I had version 1 installed all along, when I thought I had version 2. <headslap> When I try to install version 2, the install action will not work, I press the button and nothing happens. Is this something with 173? I'm thinking I may have to flash back to OE stock, install, then take OTA back up to 173? Thoughts??

best advice i can give you, since bootstrap screwed me over on my last RAZR and fried it. Use safe strap, you can switch between ROMs and allows more room for mistakes, trial & error, etc.. but its different strokes for different folks, whatever floats your boat pal. Good luck!

I don't like how bootstrap is behaving for me lately, so I may just give safety strap a go.
