Need help with news app

My phone before the RAZR was the OG Droid.
They Original Droid has a very handy APP called Headlines, it was a news APP that gave me numerous news articles about a certain topic that I set it to get like Michigan Wolverines Football and it gave me all things Mich Football.
Since the Razr i have not been able to find an app like it.

Im sure it is out there I just cant find it
Any help would be greatly appreciated

There's all sorts of news apps on the play store, and sports too... my suggestion is to try em out sorry I couldn't help more

Not sure about getting news for specific teams(I use twitter for that) but fir categories such as tech news, world news ect... I like flipboard. It has a smooth interface an is very attractive as a widget.
