Would you be so kind to include my theme? It's very popular on miui-dev and it's in the .mtz format.

Only issue I have is editing themes. It shows up before I edit it. Then, I edit the theme and rename it .mtz again and it stops showing up. And if I go and select it manually in the SD card it just takes me back to the theme manager and doesn't do anything.

Can someone tell me why the theme has to be in .mtz format and does theme downloader update its themes by itself or what.

It's something the Chinese decided. I saw someone mention that it makes it easier to create a theme but I don't know if that holds true or not. If it isn't updated it will say (old version). I think each release it is added if it's uodated. Don't quote me on that though

All the old themes work for me. All the themes MIUI.com turn out are still zip's

Apply as a .apk file. download, move from /sdcard to /system/app and change permissions to rw-r--r-- and reboot.

no more ugly purple music player.

There have been some changed in the newer versions of MIUI to the theming structure. Could you please update the SuaveHD link..its at v6 now.
