I think we all got those updates when the Razr community had their big "OMG ICS update is coming!" scare. i wish it was true but i dont think its coming for a while. on the motorola site it still says its in its baby stage 1 of 4

I know everyone is excited that ics is coming but wouldnt u rather have a bug free GB build than a buggy not working build of ics?? I mean look at all the bugs we've had with GB u think ics will be any different ? Cause I for one dont think it will be

Yes. That is exactly what it means. ICS is coming and it's coming real soon.

Some of the other phones they have have ICS don't they?

Right, the Galaxy Nexus, for one.

This means more likely that the app developers have access to the ICS codes and want to have the apps updated. I'm not waiting on tenderhooks as my Bionic is working fine.

That's a false dichotomy and you know it. ICS has been available to Motorola for quite a while, and failing to have delivered it to the Bionic by now can't be blamed on anything except their priorities. They don't care about it enough to put more people on the job to make it happen, and in about 6 months even it does come out it'll be just as buggy as any other build they've ever put out.

And regarding Gingerbread... Come on man- the webkit implementation on that browser is terrible. That's why Google is trying to transition Android over to the Chrome browser. That's only available for ICS though, so... you know... a big free GB build still sucks.

Loving your phone doesn't mean you have to apologize for everything Motorola dies.
