I hear grousing on occasion about battery life, but I have to say that I'm happy with the performance on my dx.
I just watched a movie (full screen, xvid) over wifi via dlna (thanks skifta). I burned about 10% of my battery per hour. Even with the brightness on auto.
I think that's pretty good.
I'm not sure I'd get that kind of battery life out of my video ipod and the dx did it over a network and with a bigger screen. Again, I'm happy.
