i think unrevoked bricked my incredible

    tried to root using unrevoked everything was going well...when it rebooted it rebooted onto the htc incredible screen and is stuck!! has anyone experienced this problem or know how to resolve this issue!? thanks in advance

    Though i can boot up in bootloader is there a way to recover from this screen

    how can i get my computer to acknowledge the phone in this state? I have installed the android usb drivers...im running windowns xp is there a certain folder where i should put the extracted zip?

    Assume drivers are correctly installed, the extracted zip can be wherever - make sure it is unzipped and correct file to run the exploit is chosen to invoke the process.
    Using original USB cord? Some aftermarket ones don’t perform well.,

    if drivers aren't installed correctly how can i do so? when i plug my phone in my computer won't recognize it....it does nothing...if i download the PC36IMG.zip how do i installit from hboot? im used to using droid x and i dont see an option to install a .zip from hboot.

    There's a couple step by step guides here on the forum. Sounds like driver issues, common thing, happened to me too back in the day.
