With 3g I could play any game but fighters. Shooters had some lag sometimes. It depends on the other people's connection.

4g no issues with anything.

Are we talking about the Razr? Verizon paid for tether, or rooted free WiFi tether?

Verizon paid for tether: Many sites do not work to include the Netflix app. Verizon and Motorola are working on a fix. Maybe this month, supposedly.

Rooted Free WiFi: Works great, but of course you're taking a chance that Verizon will find out and shut you down.

I haven't gamed using mine, but there's no way I'd try with a 3G connection, which is where I live.
