Lol, too bad I have Verizon. I'm also not a big fan of CM but I guess its the next best thing to UD. Still no word from the Guy I contacted. I was actually looking at the Motorola A555 since its almost identical to the Droid but i haven't looked at the technical specs yet.

I look at it this way:

CM = Team Douche. An apt name if I ever heard one.

UD = [non-mod edit since we can't talk about why they were banned] and too many bugs in every "stable" release for my tastes.

Either way, what bliss? Oh, and there's a CM for the Inc. I don't know about UD and how functional it is -- has to be better than the UD for the X. Actually, for the Inc there are almost as many ROMs as there are for the D1, and without the locked bootloader they're full ROMs instead of glorified themes.

I see the ugly side of UD releases.

Anyway, if you're cool with the history then have fun with UD. And good luck with the Inc. It's an awesome piece of hardware too.

i have the droid 2 global. its very fast and fun to play with and its good to use on busineus trips. its like a everything phonedancedroid!

I don't know anything about the UD history. Just know it carries the most features I like lol.
