Having An Issue With 2.1 - Come In Here

Anyone else having a problem with the gallery? It keeps force closing on me. Trying to change wallpaper from the gallery is impossible right now....

If you had an icon on your homescreen before the update then delete it and re-add it. Should fix the problem.

never had.

however I did have the 3d gallery when it was in 2.0.1.

I did do a factory reset before I updated, so that should've gotten rid of it right?

Hello.

So, I just installed 2.1 and it says gallery is not on my phone and there's no pinch zoom. Am I missing something here?

Anyone else get this message practically every time they open the gallery?

no...the 3d Gallery APK that you previously installed is causing the issue.

Can you delete that as an application? Does it show up in the list?

figured it was a conflict.

I don't see the .apk file in my phone anymore, but on the application list i see com.android.gallery or something like that (remembering off the top of my head) and it was all "0" like 0.00MB and all that. I'll delete that and hopefully that helps.

Very disapointed in the new browser. Pinch to zoom is fine, but wish bookmarks synced with google bookmarks. Sticking with dolphin browser.

Also was hoping for more home screens.

My phone says it is up to date yet I only have 2.01, not 2.1. Why have I not been notified of the update and given the opportunity to update?

I HAVE A PROBLEM!!
sorry... i didn't wanna read thru 18 pages... so i don't if this has been posted...
i downloaded on my phone... followed the instructions.. moved and renamed the file... applied and it said update complete..
went to reboot my phone and is stuck on the motorola logo...
tried to apply the update again but this time it said not enough space on phone...
my phone has been bricked for hours... i just got back from work...
please help me!!!
i don't wanna wipe my phone ...

another thing... when i first applied update.zip....
it said:
"E:can't open /cache/recovery/command
E:error in CACHE:recovery/log
(no space left on device)"

what does "wipe cache partition" do?
