Froyo Problems

    Im rooted with easy root and when I go to the OTA update it downloads fine but when I re-boot it says installation failed..any ideas? Should I un-root :icon_evil:

    I would unroot, maybe do a factory restore?

    No it just says failed. What will I loose in the reset?

    Did you remove any bloat ware on 2.1 or theme it?

    If you have a custom recovery program, the ota install will abort every time.

    flash your abf back to stock, then do the update.

    That encrypted bootloader is a pain in the rump. If you mess with the X you get horned pretty bad by the updates.
