flashing roms not working?

ok so i was using cm7 rc2 backed that up using nandroid and tried to install UD from my sd card and it tells me installation aborted right away tried doing rc2 off sd card again got the same results saying installation aborted.. could anyone tell me why this is or how to fix it???

Try reflashing your recovery.then try again.

so i should rerun unrevoked again?

or do i reflash it through rom manager?

well i tried to through rom manager and its saying "an error occured while attempting to run privleged commands"
it also says the same thing when i try to flash older clockwork recoveries


EDIT: nevermind somehow SU was denying rom manager.. thanks for leading me into the right way jstafford
