Firefox Mobile for Android launching “late this year”
Too bad, was excited about it but I'm pretty content with xScope and Dolphin at the moment. Still can't wait to see what it offers though!
Ah jeez, that sucks, i was hopping for fennec earlier than that ._.
god damn laggers.
with Xscope and Dolphin who cares. Giving Gary one year with Xscope though and I doubt I will have any need for the firefox browser.
I'm happy with the default browser. I like the idea that Dolphin gives tabs but I didn't like working with it.
I would like to see how firefox works with Droid.
"So why not sooner? According to Jay, they just couldn’t do it when Android only supported Java development. Once Google added native C/C++ support back in June, however, the path was clear for development."
Um... It's almost March. It's been 8 months. By the time they get Fennec out 'later this year' everyone will be past it. While I am too also excited about it's release, I had held off porting data or copying bookmarks in hopes for Fennec, but since it's so far off, I will make one of these browser my browser of choice because they are all pretty nice.... AND will only get better.
Firefox made a bad move with this one, me thinks. :icon_ poke:
try Xscope out, it's my fav.
