Something I can finally agree with coming from FCC, the end to robocalls and caller spoofs.
The FCC chairman has demanded the adoption of a robust call authentication system to prevent caller ID spoofing, telling American carriers to implement the technology no later than 2019.

I hope they get this done quickly. My blocked number list is getting long.

What is getting done? Something about blocked calls / robo calls? My blocked call list and scammer contact > straight to voicemail list are both getting very long.

I do keep the number for "Sara from card services..." unblocked. She is nice.

I've added 61 numbers to my block list within last 20 months.
