Hey Martin, and everybody else.

If you D/L the Black Glass theme then open it on you're PC with 7zip, navigate to system/app and just delete the facebook.apk from the .zip. then just install the theme.

You will have the BG theme on everything except FB and then you can update.

Until someone themes the new version of the app, it won't look right

I came to this realization after fussing with it last night but haven't gotten around to it.

confirming it for me helps however

oh and I guess I'd need to get 7zip!!

That's exactly what I have now. Only deleted the apk after bgx has been installed for a long while. Shouldn't make any difference when you have the inferior version of installed. If it is the one that comes with bgx than so be it. In order to get 1.4 you have to delete the old one first, or rename it.

kind of a disappoint if you ask me. been waiting for this "places" feature for the Droid for a while, and it doesn't even seem to work all that well.
