Can I bypass the "Welcome to Droid" screen?

I can't activate my new phone until the old one gets un activated, but I want to play with it. Can I get pass the press here to activate your phone screen?

I could go ahead and root it, but I would like to play with it stock to have a base line to compare to when I do root it.

ive seen it done by pressing the 4 corners of the screen in a row. try the top left and go clockwise.

lol, This is unique. I really didnt know how to answer this but wow, what an interesting solution. my guess would have been rooting and installing a rom which waives the activation right away....i think BB does this. I like yours better though, if it works that is...

I've heard putting the phone you want deactivated in the microwave works well.
