I had the same results when I tried modifying the color of the "M" logo to orange instead of red. Don't know why, but nothing...Just a blank screen where the ani should be.

I was, however, able to edit out the "Dual Core" part using Gimp and just painting over that part in black. I'll attach the new animation. Doesn't seem to run as smooth as the original so I won't be offended if you don't use it and think it's crap. I'm ok with it and I'm using it as is.

Note: Don't forget to rename to bootanimation.zip before applying and ( disclaimer here: ) I am not resposible for what happens to your phone. Use this at your own risk. Etc...Etc

I was wondering if there is anymore hacks or things you can do with the Atrix? Its sort of new so I know much wont be avl yet but I was hoping to get more info. hmmm....here is my animation...i actually just Downloaded the original one, placed it in the data/local folder and nothing...also tried the system media folder and nothing again. not sure what i am doing wrong here, i have done this a few times in the past with success. am i missing something. here is the file i am trying to get in there.
