Just got email from moto.. soak test on its way

I'm running 5.5.893 and would like to flash back to a stock .883. I understand the kernel issues and all but I had an HTC eris that was rooted running evervolv, I was able to find a stock Android 1.5 rom and flashed it back and just went through the updates. Is there such for this? I'm afraid with the .893 I shall be left out of the OTA push.

Seems like Moto is taking their time with their updates. I was very happy with updates to my X2.
