So after the Kit Kat update my phone's battery life took a hit. I was getting 4-6 hours with the same usage that previously gave me much longer.
Long story short: after some research I've disabled the Amazon and Kindle apps on my phone. They were normally using a combined 6% of my battery usage without ever being opened. I also installed the DU Battery app but am not sure it has any effect (although it tells me how many hours/minutes I have left on a charge which is cool).
Since these changes my battery life has been much better. Not sure how helpful this will be to others but wanted to report it.
Also, is anyone else disappointed in the lack of "small" phone options post Razr M?
