apps2sd on Milestone

Hello i have been trying to use apps2sd on my milestone, and i got it working. But i ran into a problem, it didn't work for apps thats normaly installed in the apps private folder, since it doesn't show up as installed.does anyone have a working guide. The one i found didn't work

i have a telus milestone and am not rooted. Does this work with no root?
