Appplanet is an alternate marketplace app that rips off developers. It's exlusively used to get paid apps for free. and yes - I would be alarmed.

you might have already compromised yourself with the My Accounts, I hope not for your sake. And, I would hope most people would pay the developer if that is what is being asked.
