I fired up my ipod today and after agreeing to yet another 70 page app store agreement (think I gave away by 5th born and 50 head of cattle) and then updating my apps (all updated) and signing in a couple times (yes I walked away for a bit) I forgot what I was going on there for. Later when I remembered the app store took forever to come up.. and then again just a bit ago when I went to test my tether speed.

My point? Markets sometimes go wonky.

Hello People, I followed this threat and more on the net to solve this problem I had for 10 days.

I deleted dalvik cache, removed vending data and even flashed 2 new ROMs, non of them worked.

Today I read this comment on XDA

First I thought no way that can not be the problem, but then after deleting the app, it worked instant! No need to deleted cache or reboot, just remove Blackmarket!

How the f*ck can Google do this to us? This means google is watching which apps we have installed, even outside te market!
Damnit, only reason I had blackmarket was to download emulators which are not available on the market.

I hope this will also be the solution for you guys, and don't forget to thank the guy on XDA if you have an account ;)

I think this may be coincidental - I, for one, don't have Blackmarket (nor have I heard of it before), nor do many others with this missing market apps issue.

Oké, I realy thought this was the problem, do you have other apps instaled which are not available trough the market?
Try to delete some apps one by one and look if it fixes the problem, at this point I am almost 100% sure it has nothing to do with the Google servers.

The only thing I had that wasn't installed from either Android Market or Amazon Appstore was the TBH app. Uninstalling it did not resolve the issue. Others in the thread have noted that the issue occurs for them without having *any* apps installed, market or otherwise.

Yep, definitely coincidental. I don't have, and have never heard of, Blackmarket. Additionally, after a factory reset (no apps installed) the market works correctly for only as long as it takes for the market to update to the newest version. Even with no apps installed, the market is broken.

For almost everyone it is not a blackmarket problem, it is a known widespread Google market account problem that Google must correct for millions of accounts.

Sent from my DROID X2 using DroidForums

Maybe, but can be something that blackmart do and does the problem...
Does anyone without root or custom rom have the problem?

Someone else on XDA solved it by deleting MarketEnabler and PaidApps.apk (never heard of PaidApps.apk) .
So I am almost sure it has NOTHING to do with the Google Servers nor Youre Google accounts.

For some reason the problem occurs when having some app installed.

Have you read any of this thread? Several of us, myself included, have gone back to a completely stock system and the problem remains. It's not an app that is causing this.
