#1 Let's start with contact issues

Thank you for having this forum. I've had my Droid X for 4 days. I am syncing to Outlook. I have 6500 contacts. Many contacts do not make it to the device. I check my Outlook, the contacts are there. A rough guess is 5% of the contacts do not sync to the device. I've tried this several times. By the way... it takes about 3 hours for the sync (very very long). Thank you for any help you can provide.
