Will android update unroot phone?

I just rooted my droid x 2.2.1 using z4root. If android is updated above 2.2.1 will my phone be unrooted by that? Also if not will it still be ok to update?

Yes it will get unroot your phone. Yes you will be able to get the update if you are rooted

Just don't remove any bloatware and you'll be ok with ota
