It seems like only yesterday we were watching Steve Jobs reveal the second iPad and wondering how Android tablet manufacturers would react (actually, it was yesterday). Now we have news that the Wi-Fi-only version of the Motorola XOOM will be priced at $539 at Sam’s Club.

Very nice job Motorola. Thats $60 less than the similar iPad model. This comes as a surprise, but as a good surprise.

Keep an eye out. I believe I have seen trial memberships for Sam's before. That might work.

I've been a Sams Club member for years and I think that it was $35 for my last annual membership. I also thought that the 1 day pass required some % extra over the listed price for members. I could be wrong about that, but it was that way years ago. I don't remember the % extra back then though.
