I just purchased some mp3 speakers, their designed for an Ipod so it has the Ipod male connector, the player just rests in male plug, but it has an auxiliary jack so I can plug my Droid into it.

I'm just curious what male/male cable I need to do that? how many wires?

And just for giggles is there and adapter that would connect the Droid output to the Apple male connector so I could use the built in control buttons so I could use them to select songs etc...rather than using the Droids controls.

Thanks

Ron W.

Patiently waiting for the Bionic.

Stereo 3.5mm to stereo 3.5mm. Look at the jack on the Droid and the jack on the device. That tells you which plugs you need on the cable.

No. The Droid wouldn't know what to do with the signals sent on the dock connector. You can't control the Droid with an iPod dock connection without some device interpreting the signals somehow.
