VZW Rep/General Account Questions only.

Here is a question...may not be general enough without looking at my account...if that is the case...maybe I can PM you.

I was an Alltel Legacy customer. In October last year when the merger took place on the 17th or so...my account was coded as a business account. It was a consumer account on Alltel, but when I went to apply my discount that VZW offers to Best Buy Mobile employees, I was denied because I'm a "business" customer. I was told I would have to do an Assumption of Liability to get it switched to a consumer account. Is this true or can it be fixed within Eroes so that I can get my discount?

Your line's contract and upgrade dates are unaffected.

Annual Upgrade

Im eligible for an annual upgrade next week, but from my conversation with a rep over the phone she says it wont show up online, and that i would have to call in and order the phone. My question is how would i take advantage of my annual upgrade online, or say at a bestbuy?

You would have to do in VZW store or by calling customer service. Not able to upgrade thru a retail distributer if it does not show up on your myverizon web page.

Can i just call VZW and have them to show that im eligible for the upgrade? I know i was able to do something like this last year because i was able to upgrade at walmart

I've billed to my account before, and the only bad thing about that is if you dont like the phone or want to return it within 30 days, your account isn't instantly credited back. Dont like this at all, would rather pay cash.

Yeah I can understand that. A quick call to customer service gets you an adjusted balance though. And any late fees or anything of the sort gets credited back anyway.
I brought up the bill to account option because you pay nothing out of pocket and, depending how far away your next bill due date is, you should have you rebate back before you pay anything for the equipment. Take the card into a store and put it toward your bill. Then, the amount of the rebate doesn't even exist.

Nope, can't do this. You should be able to do early upgrade online, though, but it doesn't matter because it is still a mail in rebate online.

I couldnt find a place to start a new thread, however i have a motorola droidx and i won this in a giveaway, that kcra had hosted on facebook, the phone i received had been used, instead of a new phone like the giveaway had stated, however i can't access the voicemail, because the previous user had set a password. What should i do.
