Well it seems a member over an AndroidForums.Com has received a pre-release Galaxy Nexus, He got it for being a Samsung Mobiler, a program that affords participants a free phone for using it and blogging (vlogging, too) about it to their audience, anyways, enjoy!

Note: We realize this is the UK one, but still an interesting view.

Wow, that seems like a sketchy way to ship an expensive cell phone to someone. Did it really just come thrown in a "padded" envelope or did he already remove the box? Oh well, hope we get this soon.

I want this phone so bad... :/ my D2 is so f'd up. I wonder if we will get a giveaway contest for one of these ? i sure hope so.

I like the design of the phone. Surprisingly it looked a lot more flimsy/plastic-y until I saw the video. My only problem is with manufacturers making these phones so big. I by no means have small hands but still, it just seems like while phones are getting thinner, they're expanding outward. I still think the D1 and maybe a phone slightly larger are the perfect size. No one should want a phone that nears the size of a mini tablet. Even the RAZR seemed a little too large but somehow they must think there's a market for these. They remind me of the vision impaired phones.

I sure as hell won't be shaking it all around dangling it over rocks just waiting to fumble it and scratch up my sexy new Nexus when I finally have it. Kinda of pointless video IMO.

The problem with the Razr is the bezel is way too wide. When they get the bezel size down to a couple mm. on either side a 4.5-5.0 in screen will be just about ideal.

This was more like a Galaxy Nexus Unbagging.

That must have been a loaner used Nexus that they send out to folks to try out, not a brand spanking new device with that new phone smell.

The only thing I learned from that video is that the device is likely not far from launching (a good thing) but he didn't show the phone off at all. I guess that's coming later.

Can always try and win one through the twitter contest by following @googlenexus

That contest looks fun and all, but 10 devices to give out for millions of people providing pictures, and answers seems like the Lottery. I'd rather just spend my hard earned money to get the phone I want, than waste time baking a cake that looks like an Ice Cream sandwich. Good luck to those who try though.

It isn't a true unboxing since the phone is already turned ON when it comes out of the bag. Either way, nice to see a video of it.

<---weird. Does this mean Samsung is very confident on the battery life of the phone? Or...maybe they were tracking the phone using gps?
