The sliding mechanism on my droid has become VERY loose. It actually will rock back and forth as it opens (as in doesn't open straight). It still locks into place when fully opened but when closed many times I look down and notice the top half of the phone is crooked. I've been dealing with it like this for a while now because my body glove case does a good job of keeping the two halves of the phone closed but since I've had it off this week it's really starting to bother me. I have no visible signs of damage from dropping it (has only had a few minor falls on soft surfaces), so what are my chances of the store exchanging it for me? I am planning on flashing back to stock tonight and give it a try tomorrow.
If they won't replace it in store, I guess I'll wait for something to really break and then just file and insurance claim. However, when I had the Voyager I had a screen flicker issue and they exchanged it in store with no questions.
