Verizon needs unlimited texting in Unlimited data plan

AT&T has this and iPhone users always laugh at me when I say I don't have free texting I pay an extra $5 to get 250 and that was not enough so I was forced to use Google Voice,

Will Verizon ever get it together and offer this? I am surprised they have let AT&T one up them in this area.
