Update not working?

I went to about phone, system updates, and clicked to update the system about 2 or 3 weeks ago... It still has not updates and when I click on system updates it says "An update is currently being downloaded. You will be notified when the download is complete".... Meanwhile as soon as I turn off wifi or leave wifi zone I get a notification saying update has been suspended.. but it always says it is at 0%... And i have to restart phone to get it to work again. It has been draining my battery too. It won't even last a full day and I do nothing more than check my email once or twice and make a phone call.... any suggestions?

Thanks, it looks like that's what I'm going to have to do.

I thought technology was supposed to be getting better each day.... it seems to be going down hill..
