stuck mms

[Solved] stuck mms

I am stuck at sending... when I try to send a picture through mms. I am running UD 2.3.0 on DInc, no custom kernel, just whatever installed with 2.3.0. Baseband is 2.15.00.07.28 if that helps. Thanks.

the stock mms cant send anything over a meg. I know in K9 you can set the default to 2 megs. you may be able to with stock mms in the setting as well.

Dunno man. I just opened the stock mms and saw no option for changing file size limit. I use Handcent and I have it set to 2 megs. Not sure what ChompMMS can do. If you do install a new messaging app, don't delete the stock one, just turn the notifications off for it in its settings.

I tried handcent and no luck with that, the throbber just keeps spinning. I wonder if its the APN settings. I guess I would have to go back to stock rom and backup the APN settings and then back to UD and restore the APN. That would be a huge pain.

Edit: So I was able to edit the APN settings and changed some of the settings and got it working again. Thanks for the help. If anyone needs the instructions they are here.

chomp will do up to 5mb

Doesn't matter if it's 100mb allowable in the app. Anything over 500kb doesn't go thru via mms by Verizon design.
