Just like i've been stating since the original post. unlimited text, web and calls to any mobile phone. It's not brain surgery folks.

Cisco, the links to the plans and prices have been shown. The plan you are talking about is Mobile to Mobile ONLY. That means if you used minutes talking to a non-mobile number, you would be paying extra.

my friend billyidle. i'm fully aware of that. That's what my first post says...."unlimited calls to any mobile number". I've never said or stated anything else.

Here is the direct link to the Sprint plans, the price for the unlimited plan is right at the top. No need to call anyone names, we're trying to help clear up a confusing subject.
Your right, no name calling needed lol. :) Anyway, im fully aware theres other plans out there. I'm talking about the commercial i seen and the one i posted on previous page. Comes to find out i guess it's the "mobile" plan or what have you. Since Post #1 on this thread i tried to make it clear that the unlimited calls was to mobile numbers only. If that wasn't clear enough to everybody then i apologize.

Yet you want Verizon to match that price on their unlimited calls to any number plan?

Yep. The Verizon Nationwide Unlimited Anytime Minute Plans do not limit you to calling other mobile numbers. Unlimited talk & text, plus the $30 unlimited data plan gets you everything for $120. Additional family lines are $80 (with data).

Sprint offers everything with their Simply Everything plan for $100. $90 for additional family lines.

But, Sprint has a much smaller network.

As you can see by this quote, not everyone saw it was strictly mobile to mobile for the Sprint plan.

I agree with some of what you said but... Sprint has text built into their unlimited plan for WAY less total cost.. and even the evil At&t has $30 for unlimited for 2 lines (still high but at least its unlimited)... Just because other carriers overcharge for text as well doesn't make it right.

obviously people pick the plan thats best suited for them so in my case for me, it'd be good. All my friends don't own house phones anymore. Only people i'd call at a landline is maybe my parents but that's not often either. They usually call me on there cells more often. This plan would be ideal for me.

The problem is not everyone does just mobile to mobile calling, while i agree that verizon could come out with a mobile only unlimited plan, it would still cost more then sprints. Most of the time your paying for better service, sometimes i am aware that, that is not the case. When you start coming out with a plan for everything under the sun, it just starts to get confusing after awhile. Do i think that it should cost alot less for a plan, dang right. But i do not hold the cards in this battle. I just know that i've had verizon, and they have NEVER been bad to me, great service area, and little to no drop calls. (Maybe had 2 in the 4 years i've been with them) Alot of advertising nowadays i would call deceptive advertising, most is done to get people to sign up for something they aren't fully aware of, and then when they get a phone bill of 2000$ they wonder what in the world is going on.

I'm just hoping that once verizon get's it's 4G done with, that the plans will go down alot in price. (From what i've heard they were going to)

I switched from AT&T to Verizon in November exclusively to get the Droid.

I had a BB on AT&T. IMHO the networks are the same for me. I traveled a lot with my BB on AT&T and I was without coverage very rarely. My Verizon Droid has been the same. I live in the Pittsbugh area an I have good coverage with both. (Can't say the same for the T-Mobile phone that I demo'ed.)

However, several people I know have Sprint for work phones and they complain about the voice and especially data coverage.

Now, the one thing that AT&T has, that no one else does, is the roll over minutes. I am usually under 450 minutes per month. In the couple of months that I went over, the roll over minutes saved me.

With two lines, 550 minutes between us, unlimited text and picture messaging, free nights and weekends, 10 friends and family between the two of us, and two $30 data plans our bill is $105 a month on VZW.

I am on Sprint, I pay 121.00 per month for unlimited text, web and talk to mobile phones for TWO phones. I have to say it really is an incredible plan. I have only ever dropped two calls in the 6 months I have been with them. I am in the Phoenix area. I get a 20% discount through work on the plan though.

My wife and I have Palm Pre's. LOVE the WebOS operating system, don't like the hardware. Palm is working on new hardware to release this summer which will make or break them. On Sprint you are in a two year contract but can upgrade every year.
