should i upgrade?

should i upgrade to the X or droid 2? ive had a droid (one) for over a year.

i want the X but im afraid since its been out for... what 6 months?... that very soon it will become obsolete by another phone. ex: my droid one started to suck after 1GHz became the cpu standard for smart phones on vzw.

whats going to be coming out for vzw this year? anything soon? ive heard rumor of the iPhone but idk if i even care about the iPhone... android is pretty hot.

The new HTC Thunderbolt looks like a seriously amazing phone, if all the leaked specs are, in fact, true. Same size as the X (but with all kinds of added goodies).

I adore my X, and I needed a new phone when I got it a couple months back, so no regrets...

But if you can wait (less than) a week, WAIT UNTIL CES to make a decision.

As is typical with these types of threads you've omitted your needs/wants. It'ss impossible to give you meaningful advice without that info. List out your requirements and prioritize them rather than randomly selecting devices to upgrade to.
