scripts for cyanogen 6?

Just wiped and installed cyanogen 6 rc3. Themed with REVO (amazing theme), loaded up p3 1ghz kernel and I'm loving it. Adobe flash is even in the market and runs great!

Coming from bugless beast, lithium, etc I'm used to having custom scripts or some utility to tweak what apps and such are installed. But so far I have yet to find anything of the sort for cyanogen...

This rom seems perfect except for the inability to:

Disable ads
Remove amazon, news genie, etc

Otherwise everything is going great!

Titanium Backup can remove system apps with SU permissions.

I would also be interested to know if there was a way to block ads without an extra app.

Yes scripts would be nice...is there a list anywhere?

just download adfree from market to disable ads. It is just one time thingy.

CM6 is vanilla rom with lot of customizations. for scripts they are available in other roms

You can also remove apps with root explorer..a lot easier imo

Scripts are for those who needs hand holding. You can do it yourself everything very easily that a script provides.

You can always just kang the scripts you want from another rom from /system/xbin and then push them or copy with root explorer to your /system/xbin...
