Screenshots of peoples Droid desktops?

Its part of Rosie (Sense UI) and cannot be installed on the Droid's native OS, or any mod of it. You need a HTC Rosie device, or a Desire Rom... which is still pre-alpha.

Are you sure? Ive seen that same clock widget 200 pages ago.

Now you can skin the "deskclock.apk" to look like that from 2.1, but it will not function like the one I have.

Im convinced. I'll try when I get home from work tonight. Im tired of installing a Theme like Home++, or Helix only to slow my phone down to a crawl. Stock is much faster..but o so boring.

Quick question, should I take out all of my apps, widgets of the main screens b4 I root? Hope that made sense.

all you have to do is install it, set it as default and voila... new launcher. i am using helix1 and get 7 screens, don't even know what to do with the space though, you can set it to however many screens you want. i'm trying it for a while and still getting enough balls to run ultimate v7.8

i went ahead and got the pure grid calendar. i got a question, how do you upload your pics so they look big as yours in this page?

Yeah, I put em all together in Paint...resize it and then upload it to image shack.

sounds like some work to do that. are you guys ok viewing my pics though? i have no problem doing it this way. thanks though.

Here is mine...right now my biggest issue is trying to find a background that I a) like that b) goes with my icons/theme. Driving me nuts. I might make that my mission in life this weekend....to find a good BG. You can see my custom launcher there...

you can always just upload them to photobucket or picasa and paste the url for the image on the thread thats what a lot of people do rather then uploading to the forums storage

My goodness! You can spend forever on this thread and not see everything here! My mind boggles with all the different looks and clever ideas shown.

I'm not rooted but dangitall, this is really pushing me to go ahead and do it, except--

--I don't even know how. lol But I'm willing to learn.

I'm hearing that we're not getting the multiple screens after all and nothing's been said about Flash yet (I'm truly annoyed with that!) so... I'm gonna search the forum on how to root and see if I can do it.

flash will show up sooner or later

easiest way to root is DroidMod - Everything Droid doesn't, DroidMod does. download their updater it will root for you basicly and install the recovery app for you if you run it a second time from there just have to decide on the rom you want

From what I have heard, Flash isn't Verizon/Google/Moto's doing. I think Moto/Google have already prepared our phone for it (or will with 2.1 for unrooted ppl), but we are mostly waiting on Adobe to give it to us. It will be here sooner or later though.

That's one of the number one things I love about the Droid. Customizability, so many different possible layouts and set ups.

What can you customize on the iDon't? I've read that you can only change the ring tone and lock screen background?
