Still debating on whether to Root or not. Wanted to wait on the update but all of these custom ROM's that are on the site is making it difficult.

Feel exactly the same way!... like a kid in a candy store... I also decided to take the plunge... but I guess I have to wait until the new OS comes out... or so I hear...

i went ahead and got the pure grid calendar. i got a question, how do you upload your pics so they look big as yours in this page?

his are photoshoped into one large image but if you upload to picasa from your photo you can use the picasa image only link with the insert image button to do basicly the same size

i went ahead and got the pure grid calendar. i got a question, how do you upload your pics so they look big as yours in this page?

Yeah, I put em all together in Paint...resize it and then upload it to image shack.

Im convinced. I'll try when I get home from work tonight. Im tired of installing a Theme like Home++, or Helix only to slow my phone down to a crawl. Stock is much faster..but o so boring.

Quick question, should I take out all of my apps, widgets of the main screens b4 I root? Hope that made sense.

they will all be cleaned off when you install a rom during the wipe data/cache part of the install instructions

install a 2.1 rom then helix it wont crawl it will run with jet packs on its feet then

Backup all of your apps using Astro File Manager before rooting.

to rename A folder, you open it and long press where it says folder at the top...other than that, most unspecific question ever..

Backup all of your apps using Astro File Manager before rooting.

How exactly do you do this? I've poked through the various options and such in Astro and never found a magic "backup" feature. Perhaps I've just not looked in the right spot?
