Screenshots of peoples Droid desktops?

So i have Metamorph installed and want to apply the battery indicator... do i just load that zip on to it?
Also if i apply a total theme to my current setup do i need to re set up all my icons and widgets?

Your Widgets and Icons will be unaffected. The cool thing about MM is it just changes the files that are int eh Theme. In this case the only thing that is changed is the png files for the battery level.
Fanfriggen tastic. Last question i swear... what if i download a theme and apply it, then want to revert back to the old one. will that be easy also?

Just make a backup before you apply the theme. You should do this anytime you are applying a theme or making any major changes, cosmetic or otherwise. You should be able to do it in recovery. I am not familiar with Clockwork recovery...but I am familiar with SPrecovery.

Ah ok so a ClockRecovery should be done and is the only way to revert back to something. Thanks,.

flash will show up sooner or later

easiest way to root is DroidMod - Everything Droid doesn't, DroidMod does. download their updater it will root for you basicly and install the recovery app for you if you run it a second time from there just have to decide on the rom you want :)

Well, is it possible we can still do the multiple screens afterwards? I mean since it's not coming with the official update, can we still use these apps to do it? I really want that too. lol

please say yes... pleasesayyes... pulleeeeeze say yeeeessss!!! lol
Most ROMs come with a launcher that has more than 3 screens. It may be a modified version of the 2.0.1 Launcher, or HelixLauncher, or sometimes a modified 2.1 Launcher (although these tend to be less stable and buggy). So pretty much any ROM you flash will have multiple screens. But if that is the ONLY thing you want a ROM for then you could just install HelixLauncher1 from the market.

+1 for HelixLauncher "not 2" if you just want more screens but like most people on the forums here im sure... I could care less about the -real- 2.1 update we already have the leaked copy that is going to be the final version used in the OTA

heres my current home screen

I just wanna be certain you're understanding my question. I meant that after the official 2.1 update, can I use an app to add screens to my droid? I've not rooted -- I'm still at the plain 2.0.1 version.

When Verizon/Google/WHOEVER gives us the official update (and it doesn't provide extra screens), can I still use (as you say) HelixLauncher1?

thanks. :)

Seeing as it runs on stock 2.0.1 (so it requires no root) AND it runs on rooted 2.1 (is compatible with 2.1) I would assume that yes, it should run on the official 2.1, whenever the hell that finally sees the light of day. lol
