I'm running a Droid v2.2.1, build #FRG83D. Invariably, I have problems w/ the screen rotation. I find it nearly impossible to type, when the phone is vertical, so I tilt it sideways to use the on-screen keyboard. Quite often, the screen will not rotate properly, so I hold the screen horizontally by the tips of my thumb and index finger to make it rotate. Sometimes, this doesn't work. I've even tried sliding out the hardware keyboard, but as soon as I slide it back in, it goes back to a vertical view.
Is this a known issue? I tried searching the forums, but I didn't find anything per se. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
