Screen gets frozen very often?

Does it happen to others that the screen gets frozen every now and then and becomes non responsive and then the only way to make it work again is to turn it off and on again?

YES!

It happens to me all the time!

I went through 3 Droid Xs and am now on my first D2G and it's still happening!!!

Can't seem to figure out why.:icon_evil:

It happens to me occasionally also. Not sure why though. I just lock and unlock the screen and it fixes it.

@well69 please tell me there was some other reason for getting the replacements.... if not then wow....

I was wondering if I needed to format my SD card to FAT 32--- think this would help? Also, any explanation as to why?

Your card is FAT32 already, otherwise it wouldn't work. But just remove the card first to see if it's the cause of the problems.
I had a not fully compatible microSDHC card myself (worked fine on my PC though) and sometimes my phone would freeeze. After replacing the card - no more freezes.

You mean to change the SD card and replace it for a better one? But the D2G comes with a 8GB SD card from factory. It should be the right one...
Is this problem of the non responsive screen a motorola specific thing, or an android thing?

hey does any of ur screens ever frozen when a call has come?

Yes, this happens with mine too. Hard reset will fix it for the next 3-4 weeks. I noticed in order to keep my phone working properly (not only this bug, but others too), I have to go thru clean install (no backups/etc) every 3-4 weeks.
