S3 does not show up on my PC

After the JB update, my S3 does not show up on my W8 PC, it did before, now when I plug it in it shows an additional drive, but when I click on it is not working, before it showed the S3 with the additional micro sd card slot as two additional drives that I was able to open.

Fixed, was using the wrong USB cable, had to use the cable that came with the phone.

I've used two separate USB cables that I had laying around and they both work without a problem

When I plug in my phone into the usb it won't recognize it. All it does is make the beep sound over and over. I have windows 8.
