Rooted droid boot problems

hey i have come to the conclusion that i have ruined my recovery image and need help fixing it. my phone wont go into recovery nor boot up completely. it is stuck on the boot animation. my current rom is ONIX 1.2.5

switch roms with rom manager this rom was having some errors that and force closing alot. i even fixed permissions and nothing happend

So are you running ClockWork or SP Recovery?

i am using clockwork and flashed the latest recovery 2.0.3 if im not mistaken

What happens when you try booting into Recovery (power up and holding X) ?

the motorola logo comes up and stays there a bit and then it goes away for a sec and then comes back and does that i guess forever. i held the x button and power for over 5 minutes

Have you tried flashing Recovery with RSD on your computer?

rsd isnt reading my phone. im guessing because its not getting past the boot animation

Even with your phone in Boot (Power and Up on D-Pad)? Well, will it go into the Boot screen?

yea i got it to get to the bootloader but still isnt reading in rsd program

i got it go into the boot loader and it still wont read in the rsd program but the battery is ok and everything seems ok

So you tried flashing from CW back to SP through ROM Manager?

see if booting while plugged into usb and computer makes a difference. just try to boot normal and let it sit a few.
friend and I noticed this worked a few times on his phone. no idea why, battery was full each time.
