OG Droid Wont Boot Up Past M or Go Into Recovery

So I rooted my droid and was going to install a ROM but when I tried to restart my phone it wont go past the "M" logo. I tried to boot it into recovery mode and that didnt work either. I also tried sprecovery but it doesnt reboot my phone and it tells me to do it manually. What do? Please help!

yes, the battery just died but i was able to get it booted up into recovery somehow. What can I do from here to fix my problem of it not even booting normally?

Restore a backup of a point where your ogdroid was actually working or load the rom onto your SD, wipe and than try to flash again.

Did u make a backup first?? If so restore that, if not just wipe data and cache 2 times just to be safe. Will get u back to stock

I did back it up but how do i restore that?

Yes my phone is in it right now

Use your volume up/down key to scroll down to wipe data then press the camera button to select it. Then scroll down you yes and hit the camera button again. Don't worry, this doesn't touch your SD card.

Do them both again. I know it seems redundant but we want to make sure everything is erased from the phone so there isn't any odd files screwing up the mix. I'll wait for you.
